International Student & Scholar Services supports the five elements of the University's mission -- teaching, research, service, global preparedness, and intellectual diversity -- by providing the KU international community with admissions, advising, programming, and referral services in an effective, ethical, and culturally-sensitive manner.

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services is actually housed in two separate offices, with two primary areas of responsibility: International Undergraduate Admissions and International Immigration Advising

There are five advisors in ISSS to provide assistance with immigration matters and personal welfare and well-being at KU. Advisors are available by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
