Female, born 1973 in Hungary. Lived one year in London and then moved to University of Kansas for Ph.D. studies where this recording was made by Paul Meier in 1999. Fluent, but strongly accented English.

So I am from Hungary, and uh, I was born in a little town, which is uh, an industrial town in the uh, east part of Hungary, and um...my parents are working for the same factory, basically the whole town is working for the--that factory. I have a 16 years old brother, so we are like 10 years difference, and uh, I was studying in a music school for 8 years in my primary school, and I uh, played the violin for 7 years, and then after I went to the high school, where I had uh, I was in--studying in a special math school. Eh, and uh, I still playing the violin (?) into the other . And then after my high school I ended up to moved to Budapest, eh, so I lived in first in uh, student house hostel, and then later in a scholarship hall, and in Budapest I was studying geology at the University in, there. And after the second year, I realized how important to speak English, so I took one year off, and then I went to uh, England to study the language in uh, Cambridge school. After that one year I got back uh, I was continuing my study, and I am uh, I have my master degree, and at the moment I am uh, studying at the Geology department.
