Life Span Studies at Parsons

The Schiefelbusch Institute for Life Span Studies at Parsons has conducted research in developmental disabilities for more than 40 years. It is committed to optimizing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families through research, training, technical assistance and public services and touches the lives of more than 17,000 Kansans each year.

The University of Kansas Public Management — Topeka

The center provides high-quality education, training and consulting for individuals and governmental organizations in Kansas and the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is dedicated to developing professionalism in the public workforce, providing a forum for policy discourse and linking KU resources to the challenge of public management.

Juniper Gardens Children's Project — Kansas City

Juniper Gardens Children's Project began in the mid-1960s when residents of northeast Kansas City, Kansas joined with KU faculty to address concerns about child development in a low-income community. Its mission is to improve area children's developmental and educational experiences and thus their academic and social achievements.

Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center — Hutchinson

The training center, a unit of Continuing Education of the University of Kansas, is the headquarters for all law enforcement training in Kansas.
