The resources available to support and strengthen the work of the faculty and staff are varied: practical technical training and advice for computer users; workshops, seminars and forums on teaching techniques; and guidance on developing international research projects, among other services.

Information Technology

From workshops to virus protection, Information Technology strives to support all areas of technology in education.

This systems includes threaded discussions, file sharing, e-mail, chat, grade books and other tools.

Center for Teaching Excellence

The center organizes workshops, seminars, discussion forums and other opportunities that support teaching faculty in their efforts to enhance learning in their classrooms.

This staff can help design learning environments that take advantage of innovative teaching strategies and technologies.

Office of International Programs

Faculty members from all disciplines may get help when they wish to pursue international research projects, travel or collaborative work. The office also promotes international programming and cultural events at the University.

KU Bookstore

Instructors and faculty may requisition books and supplies for their classes.

Writing Center

Trained peer consultants work with instructors and teachers to help improve students' outlining, drafting, writing and editing skills.
