Gerontology Center at the University of Kansas

Serving KU’s scholarly focus on age, aging, and the life course

The University of Kansas Gerontology Center was established by the Kansas Board of Regents in 1977. Its mission is to engage in research, education, and service in the field of aging.

The Gerontology Center fosters programs of research, education, and service that address change in structure, behavior, and function over the course of life.  The Gerontology Center develops and sustains externally funded initiatives for research and training; promotes aging-related activities within established departments; encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among university faculty and staff interested in the study of aging; and assists professionals in the State of Kansas in meeting the needs of its aging citizens.

The Gerontolgy Center encourages and welcomes your donations. If you would like to give to support our research and programs, please click on the link below.
