Environs is a KU student organization that promotes awareness of environmental issues. Through distribution of information, policy influence, and activism, Environs encourages sound environmental practices within the university, in the community of Lawrence, and throughout the region.

Local Veggie Lunch
EARTH will be collaborating with Environs to make Veggie Lunch at the ECM (1204 Oread) on November 13th using some ingredients from the Campus Garden and local farms.

Lawrence Local Food and Localvores Event
Environs, EARTH, Oxfam KU, and Lawrence Fair Trade will be hosting a local food panel discussion on November 13th at the ECM (1204 Oread). The open discussion will be moderated by Simran Sethi, featuring local growers, entrepreneurs, and educators who will answer any questions about food production, local food/global food economics and the benefits or community and health to support local farmers.
